I forgot to ask in my last post if after 6 weeks, now that I'm trying to slowly bear wait on it with the aircast on, should be icing it, and also should i still be talking ibuprophen. thanks gallypro.

I think you are right in thinking in applying ice and taking help from Ibuprofen. I think you can take normal dosages of Ibuprofen for short period of time. You should be taking for short period as for long period this medication and other NSAID's group of drugs would cause delay in bone healing.
You can continue to keep air-cast on.
I think you should consult your surgeon back if any pain persists.
