broken tibia with fever and vomiting

my 12 yr old daughter broke her tibia 5 days ago ,doc took xrays and said a broken tibia,but only gave her a air boot cast and was told to stay off,fine with all that,but now sunday night here one day before she goes back to doctors ,she  vomiting with very high fever ,104,then the chills,im thinking emergancy room tonite,i dont know,how concerned should i be ,worried parent........

Hello dear,
               Air boot cast is usually the treatment in tibial fractures.Vomitting and fever could be due to some infection and you need not worry,take her to your doctor and get her treated for the infection.Your concern is but natural,all is fine.
