knee pain

i have pain under both kneecaps and is painful to walk on but there is no pain when i bend either knee I have suffered no injury that would cause this and pain was in right knee first and now its both

Hello!

This can be due to past injury or any ligament tear due to lifting of heavy weights or some accident.

It can also be due to weakness or some lower lumbar spinal issues.

Rule out any metabolic disorders and conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Take some pain killers and follow up with an orthopedician if symptoms continue.
