Hi, as you are pointing out this might be a complication out of surgery of following the surgery, try physiotherapy and apply local heat, is there any restriction of movements or neurological symptoms. consult your orthopedician for an review even it is quite sometime.

Hi,
I advice you to meet the orthopaedic surgeon if your movements are restricted even after 8 months of surgery.Do MRI to know some soft tissue swelling in and around the shoulder joint.
With movement you might have some discomfort,it will subside with time.
Goodluck.
