shoulder muscle lost tensile strength.

Hi All,
I am Mahesh and working as IT Employee. I met an accident and my left shoulder swell, i consulted local doctor and confirmed no injuries. after two year i felt my shoulder was aching. this time i consulted a orthopedist , he confirmed that there is no gap between arm bone and upper bone, hence because of fraction between these bones i am getting issue and it happens due to  losing of tensile strength of one the shoulder muscle which keeps upper bone lifted to not intact with arm bone. my doctor suggested better not to go for surgery as my job doesn't require to lift heavy weights which effect shoulder. Any suggestion to heal the shoulder ( at least 95% recovery as original).

I'm trying really hard to understand what you are talking about when you say tensile strength.  Exactly what is happing?  Are you saying the ortho doc says you have a fracture?
