I have supraspinatus tendinosis and mild acromioclavicular joint arthrosis,my question is how do you treat this?
I have had this for over one year and have been in P.T for a year with no improvement.
what do you do from here is there anything that can be done?

thanks for the info..yes i have an appoinment with an ortho doc in a few weeks..and hopefully he can help, the P.T hasn't helped I have been doing that for a year now.so we'll see what's next..probably cortisone shots would be my guess and if they doesn't work possibly surgery,i will keep you informed on what they say

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
hi troubledog1,
how are you buddy. There are many things that can be done -
1) P.T (Exercise + SWD +TENS)
2) Intra articular steriod injection.
3) Surgery to reshape your acromion

So visit an orthopaedician and let him decide what's best for you.
