2nd Annual Cyber Party!
Greetings Cysters!
Although the first Cyber Party was in February 2006 called "Storm Watch" the weather is ever so much the same with a north south line of storms sweeping across the states. And, like then, I am in Arlington across from Washington DC. Not clear if we will get snow like the ten inches we had here in 06, I think Ohio has cornered the most snow stat for this Storm!
Then, as now, I would welcome you all to Cyber Party 2008 starting at 7PM Central time on this eve of the storm and our preparation to leap forward for daylight savings time. I welcome Cysters from everywhere. We were all drawn here by the same beast but we set those concerns aside during Cyber Party and just get to know each other. We bring virtual goodies and set them up on the table by the virtual hot tub that we will soak our imaginations in later with a cocktail of choice (also virtual) and tell tales out of class.
Tell us where you live, I am from Minnesota but out of town just now, kids, whatever. I, as hostess, will supply an icebreaker topic when I start the festivities. See you then! MV

Oh what fun...You do know you are in my hometown area; born in DC and raised in Silver Spring, MD.
I have been honing in on my (somewhat) ESP-ish talent (strange things have been happening lately!) and I just knew this was going to happen...that you would drop by and see that we are in need an some uplifting event ....and, in fact, I was thinking of 'cyber parties' just a little bit ago.
I finally came down with the bug that staff at work has been sharing ( I was the only one not sick out of about 30 staff) and thank God for my doctor who worked me in yesterday (and a great boss who said...GO!) and put me on an Anti-biotic. I have to leave Sunday before noon for a conference in Brainerd and won't return til Tuesday night...and, I have to speak at the conference. So I have been lying low. Katie and Dad are going to a Hockey game (What else in Minnesota?) and the state Hockey tournaments are on TV tonight....and, I have to color my hair, pack my suitcase, and play with my dogs....
Can you tell I am sorely in need of some adult conversation?
