DAPHNE, AL SILCOX Audrey Yvonne Holladay Silcox-died June 15, 2008 after a three year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born November 27, 1940 in Toulminville, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Audrey Foster Holladay. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Conrad Silcox of Daphne, two sons, Thomas (Kim) Silcox of Jacksonville, FL and Jeffrey (Gianna) Silcox of Fairhope, AL. One dughter, Crystal (Shane) Jeter of Daphne, six grandchildren, Katie Silcox of Jacksonville, FL, Hampton and Haley Addiss of Daphne, Scott and Joshua Jeter of Daphne and Gabriel Silcox of Fairhope. One sister, Peggy (Ken) Kastorff of Wilmer, AL. Aunts, Shirley Bertagnolli of Huntsville, AL, Teresa Latshaw of Dublin, GA and one special aunt/sister/friend, Patricia (Ted) Box of Silverhill, AL. Uncles, Butch Foster, Hugh Foster and Stewart Foster of Daphne, Buddy Foster of Lawrenceburg, IN and Buford Foster of Fairhope. Nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Yvonne was raised at the family home on the bay in Daphne. She graduated from Fairhope High School, Class of '59. After 25 years of being an Air Force family, they returned to her loving family and Daphne in 1991. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 6-8 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 10 am from the funeral home chapel . Interment will follow at Belforest Community Cemetery. Hey Ladies.  I just got off the phone with a woman who works at the Wolf_Bayview Funeral Home.  She recommended Flowers Etc at 251-626-6323.....I am going to call and ask for a $40.00 arrangement......anyone who wants to add to that can do so and add their name to the card.....an additional $5 or $10 makes a real difference......I don't know if anyone is interested but if so the opportunity is there.....if you cannot afford to make an additional donation plelase call and add your name anyway if you want.
These guys close at 4:00 cst so call before that.  I asked they present with plants not cut flowers.....
The weather here today is beautiful......the sky is blue and the contrast with the green leaves is beautiful.....life is good!
