Anyone taking/taken Cancer center of American vitamins/supplements?

Hello all.  I am still in remission from my stage 2 ov ctr at almost 1 yr now.  YEAH!  But I was reading an article in a vitamin book about the Cancer center of americas vitamins and supplements being so great and helping patients and surviviors live longer.  Can anyone give any info on these?  I went to there page and there are alot of different ones.

As I've mentioned on another thread that you put up, my friend and fellow cancer patient drank Goji juice everyday, and backed it as being the salvation to cure her cancer. She died in January. Is death a side affect of too much Goji juice?

Yes, let me know what you are looking for specifically.  The book "How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine" ( http://astore.amazon.com/ovcaresearch-20/detail/1573223433/104-5806299-7685501 ) is where you should start. It is endorsed by the CTCA.

My favorites are:

- Maitake D-Fraction ( http://www.alanpeto.com/ovarian_cancer/articles/2/1/Maitake-D-Fraction-and-Ovarian-Cancer/Page1.html )

- DIM & Genistein ( http://www.alanpeto.com/ovarian_cancer/blogs/10/So-that039s-how-broccoli-blocks-cancer.html )

Let me know if you are looking for something specific. Be sure to stay clear of 'junk' foods such as regular milk (organic is 'ok', but stay away from it if possible), sugars, etc

Congrats on you remission!

Alan

Hello... I don't take any vitamins/supplements, but have chosen to eat healthy with lots of fresh fruit and veggies. It's a personal choice of course, but with the chemo that I am on now, my Oncol. has stipulated that I DO NOT take any vitamins or supplements, as according to him, they would have an adverse affect on the treatment. I suppose that is something that those of us who take 'extras' need to take in account, and that is to make sure that what you take, doesn't undo what the treatment is supposed to be doing.
Best wishes to all...Helmar..
