Well, this is the first time I've heard of that particular problem with the eyes. The more I learn about ovarian cancer, the more I would like to have never gotten it. Oh how I wish! LOL

Very interesting, Kimchi. My CA started rising last January. I had some major floaters show up in my eyes at the end of March. We are not talking about 1 or 2 black specs, but like 50 black specs all at once. I was sent to a Retina Specialist who diagnosed me with UVEITIS and have been putting steriod drops in my eyes since. The spots come and go, but the uveitis is an underlying problem that could take my eyesight.
The MD ran so many blood tests. He is watching my retinas closely every 3 months.
I wonder if the eyes and the OVCA are somehow related. Hmmmmmmm
Thanks for sharing.

I don't recall having a vision problem but I did go have my eyes checked and my Optometrist told me it's a good idea to have them checked regularly cause OC can spread to the eyes.
Thanks, Teresa .. I've marked my drugs as well ... just so I don't have to think. I'm not back 100% since first round .. maybe 95% .. but still a little off. Was hoping to feel great before heading back for round 2 on Monday. Oh well, 1 down .. 5 to go .. I can handle it. :-)

Judy: Don't know about the cumulative thing with your chemo cocktail but really hope it goes easy for you! God...we all need a break don't we? You hang in there and get all your drugs in a row in preparation/just in case! I've got tape on the tops of all of my drugs "Man. Naus.", "Vol. Naus", "Pain Med", etc so in the middle of the nite, I can find the right one without having to squint...(yes the eyes are starting to go too)!
Let us know how it goes!

Thank you for your comments. The more I know about the drugs, the better I can handle things. I am told this go round may be rougher because I've already had similar drugs in '06. We'll see. Judy
oops read the post wrong. haven't had your current regimen...only the first. I hope it goes well for you.
I mean the whole process gets easier with time....you gain acceptance.
The exhaustion did seem to get worse with time. In my opinion, it gets easier with time...not worse. Just tell yourself that you are killing the cancer and that helps. God Bless You!
