Back from vaca - GOOD news

Hello everyone. I missed you all while I was on vacation. I just wanted to do a quick post to update you all. I just got back from LA and Las Vegas today. Luke and I had a great time. I am now ENGAGED!! Luke proposed to me on the trip. I accepted to a man I love more than anything. He completely suprised me - we never really talked about getting married. He gave me the most beautiful ring, I couldn't ask for anything more beautiful. Also, my trip to MD Anderson regarding my 2nd opinion on the active cancer cells in my stomach is this upcoming Tuesday. I will be back on Friday and will post to let you all know what they say. I hope you all are doing well, I pray for all my ovarian cancer sisters daily. With love, Deandra

Congratulations! I am so very happy for you! What a vacation you had! I just want you to know that you are still in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that all at MD Anderson turns out well. I hope that Luke knows what a wonderful woman he has in you.

Congratulations!  Glad you got away too.  We are going to LA and Las Vegas in a month for my first R&R after chemo.  Having been married for 25 years, I don't there will be a surprise as sweet as that!
