Just checking in

Hello Everyone,   Still hanging in here.  Had the ascites drained Thurs-only two weeks from last one.  Took off 2525 cc's.  About 4 pounds.  My abdomen is so sore.  I am still staying in bed most of the time.  Want to get it and be in my yard.  It is so pretty in spring-azalea, dogwoods, pansies, tulips, red bud and all the ew growth on everything else.
However, after about 3 minutes I am out of breath.

I am so sorry to hear how sick some of us are.  Helen, how are you?  Marti, I am so sorry the doxcil didn't work.  I was on Gemzar from Aug-Dec.  Didn't do much, but I wasn't real sick on it.  Will pray it is the drug for Leslee

I pray you will all have a good day.

Hugs & love, Yvonne

I am so sorry to hear that you had to have fluid drained.  I'm sure you're pretty uncomfortable and hope that soon passes and you'll be able to get out and enjoy the nice weather and those beautiful flowers you describe.  I, too, am envious.  I look out at my flowers tyring to poke through and I swear they have their hands over their eyes from confusion....still way too cold, wet and dreary here. I don't think they dare start blooming.  But spring can't be too far behind.  I hope your spring will bring you better health, much hope and lots of sunshine. Love, Judie :)

Wow, I was wondering where you had been.   Well, now I know.  4 lbs of fluid must be awfully uncomfortable to carry around like that.  I know what you mean about spring.  My front garden has tons of pansies from winter, tulips, daffodils, and the lilacs and roses are leafing out.  In the back I can already see the tiniest beginnings of my Chinese Lanterns & the Gerber Daisies.  The Lenten Rose is in full bloom.  I am not feeling my strongest, but I will enjoy this nice spring a little extra just for you.
I do hope you continue to get better and please don't be such a stranger.

Hey there, kid!  It is always nice to hear your voice.....I have to admit I am jealous .....when I look out my window all I see is mud, snow, puddles and grass in places trying to turn green....no leaves or flowers yet.....BUT.....I can see buds on some of the trees!
I am sorry to learn you are feeling the way you are ....... hopefully with the arrival of spring you will find the return of strength to your body.
I think of you often and am glad to know you continue carrying hope ....you are a special woman.
Peace.

Hi Yvonne. I just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and praying for your well-being. I hope you will not have to be drained again, I'm sure that is painful! Thanks for checking in. With love, Deandra

Hi there...thanks for checking in with all of us. I'm glad that you have gotten some relief from the ascites...I can't believe it was almost 4 pounds of fluid! I can't wait for spring around here...the snow is still covering everything, but I can see the grass trying so hard to peek out from underneath it. We're due for some rain next week, which should wash it all away. It sounds like you have a lovely yard full of beautiful flowers...I hope you are able to sit out and enjoy it soon. It's amazing what some fresh air and sunshine can do for our spirits...
take care,
Becky

HI Yvonne... Don't know which Helen you mean, but I'm just passing through, and want to wish you some happy hours in your lovely garden, with all of those beautiful flowers you have growing there. I like my garden too. I have roses and daisies mainly.
Hopefully you will regain your energy soon Yvonne, and feel much better. I think the nicer weather is uplifting too. I hope your weekend is going well...Hugs..Helen...
