Bloating question

Very simple - are you bloated all the time or do you just bloat after eating during the day, then deflate overnight? When I first started the bloating I thought it was potty problems. But nope, that was working well. Then I figured it had to do with my goofy heart, just some fluid retention that I piddled out overnight. I mentioned it to my doctor (the swollen feet and ankles, hands and tummy). That's when I found out about my little cystic friend. Ick. Anyway, just wondering. I find myself avoiding meals now because I don't want to go to bed feeling like a beached whale. Slosh, slosh. How do you handle it?

That's the deal - I've had swelling of ankles, feet, hands and belly for the past year. Usually it goes away by morning, sometimes it will last a few days. I thought it might be related to my wacky heart. That's the only reason I mentioned it to my doc at the pap smear appt. I can deal with my heart issues. This ovary stuff bothers me. I probably won't have an answer for the cause of my puffiness till after the surgery. My hands puff and get stiff when I'm at the computer for 30 minutes or so. How would my ovary do that?

Your surgery is coming up soon. Let me know if it helps all this bloating. I've given up pants with waists too. I'm buying stretchy things now. I haven't gained any weight but my belly sure hurts if I wear snug pants. Can't sit down like that. Those yoga pants with the wide band at the top are wonderful.

I too am swollen in my legs and angles and feet.  Is this normal with the cysts??  Geez .... I've given up on wearing any waisty clothes as I've been bloated to about 6 months pregnant for over a year now.  My limbs, face, etc. are so little but my stomach is huge and I have no appetite either.  I gained about six lbs. in about 10 days last week from the swelling.  Is this normal for the cysts and disease I have?  This swelling really only started about a month ago.

Any advice?  Thanks.

Best to all....... Elizabeth

Not sure how it works Ireneo, but I am up somedays and flat the next. On the preggerlook days, my bones hurt and pain twinges hit me hard, When the swelling goes down, so does the pain level. Have also noticed when I am swollen, I get awful pressure on the bladder and wear a path from my desk to my bathroom, (which totally wears me out). My doc says it is normal with ovarian cancer, but has no ideas to help with it. Sorry cannot give you advise that helps. Take care and enjoy the skinny days~

My bloating was very obvious in late evenings into the night.
Most of it subsided when I a had surgery and chemo.
There are times I am still bloated but not like before.
Are you planning on removing the cyst or are you just monitoring
right now.
