If it is too painful to palpate your stomach and you have an enlarged appendix which the Rad suggests may be appendicitis, why are they not exploring your appendix further?  It seems like the likely culprit, doesn't it?

if the cyst ruptured is that a good thing or a bad thing.

I had the brown discharge right before my period from heck started.  My dr. thinks that is when the cyst ruptured as i was in an awful lot of pain.  Tell your dr. what you are going thru.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed

Good idea - make sure you write a list for the dr. and bring it with you.  I find that helps me as sometimes I just forget what I wanted to say.

Actually it is a good albiet painfull thing.  If it has ruptured, it has resolved and is gone.  It is a good idea to have another transvag us to determine this,  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed

Sorry for the 'ick' factor here... What kind of brown discharge? Because I have had that both before and after every period, ever. Real light before and normally all the last day. (Gross as this is, smells like hamburger meat). I always thought this was just the last little bit of stuff that the uterus was pushing out.
Is that not normal? Cause now that I'm on the new BC (cycle every four months), they say you can have spotting, but that's all I've been getting for about a week (the time I'd normally cycle). But I've had that for years. So confused now.. something else I'm going to have to ask my gyn.

I'm not sure what to think.  Sounds to me they are giving you the runaround.  You are in my prayers and hope things are resolved soon.

my scan also said
half the stuff on it was not even mentioned to me it says
1- cholelithiasis 1 calcified stone 16x18 mm
2- possible appendicits
3-cyst in upper pole of right kidney 21x23 mm
4-enlarged left adrenal gland measures 20x16 mm
this proably represents benign hyperplasia
5-fluid collection or enlarged appendix suggesting appendicitis
also there is a small amount of fluid around the cecum in the right lower quadrant this may be an enlarged appendix. the appendix was not seen clear. there is some inflammatory change
any clue what all this means

I have had stomach pain all month i had a ct scan done on 4-7 i was put in the hospital saying i needed my appendix and gallbladder removed after being there 2 days i was just sent home with an appt. to have my gallbladder removed i have a 16x18 mm stone in it they said my appendix was ok even though the ct scan says appendicitis. then i had a pelvic scan that showed cysts and fibroids again i was told its ok. now this discharge that i think stopped already after a few hours but still no period i am always so regular. maybe its stress
i have heart problems and my hubby was killed by a drunk driver 2 years ago

Hey there I just experienced the same thing about 2 weeks ago (I'm just 30 by the way).  I had heart surgery March 10th and while I was in the hospital it happened.  I mentioned this to one of my nurses, but all she could say was it's normal because of the surgery.  I know that was not normal because I was having bad cramps and nausea then.  The brown discharge continued on and off with light spotting.  On the 17th of this month I went to the ER because I was having severe pain in my pelvis area...the doctor could barely even palpate it hurt so bad.  I just felt very ill.  To make a long story short, I do have an appt for an MRI this week.  I really wanted just to get that out because I am frustrated and I hope you can get your situation taken care of speedily.  I've heard those doctors can give you the runaround.  Just to ask, have you experienced any bloating, nausea, lack of appetite etc--if so I would be aggressive in dealing with this.  The ER doctor that found my mass just gave me some Vicodin and sent me on my way.  Anyway, you are in my prayers and hope things work out.
