You should not worry about any of this.  Your CA125 is not abnormal for someone your age, the CA 15-3 is for breast cancer, pancreatic cancer and other things and it is way within range because anything under 35 is okay, and the ACE test is for stuff like TB, fungal infections, and leprosy.  I have no idea why your Dr ordered all of those because that is definitely a bizarre group of tests. Did your Dr say why he all of those tests were ordered?

Your CA- 125 is only slightly elevated- mine was in the thousands when I was diagnosed.  According to Web MD, only 3% of elevated CA-125s are due to ovarian cancer.  The rest are due to hormonal influences, endometriosis, inflammation, and a variety of other conditions.  The CA-125 test is far from perfect - has both false positives and false negatives and research is continuing in developing a new test that is much more diagnostic of this condition.  My doctor actually refused my initial request for a CA-125 until my CT scan came back.

I am assuming that you have not been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  In this case, I would think that your chances of having ovarian cancer are very low.

I know that the CA 15-3 is used to follow up breast cancer, but I am unsure of the reference ranges. The ACE test, as far as I know, has nothing to do with cancer.

Please don't worry until you have talked to your doctor and expressed your concerns.  If you cant talk to the doctor directly, his/her nurse should be able to explain your lab results - what they are being used for and what the results mean in the context of your health.

I don't know anything about CA 15-3 or 13.8 and Ace 1.4.  I hope someone here jumps in.  A CA125 test is not the only test to determine Ovarian Cancer.  A transvaginal ultrasound would be ordered and if something is there that concerns the doctor, he'd order a CT scan.  Then he would refer you to a gyn oncologist.  It is horrible that you cannot get any answers from you OB.  Is the office far away?  I'd march right down there and ask what the results mean.  Fortunately my doctor responds right away.  I think oncologists are better with response.  I can't say whether or not the rise is due to ovca.  There are other reasons for a rise in a ca125 if you don't have ovca.  If you have the disease more than likely the rise is due to progression.  Do you have any symtoms?  I will post below the symptoms.  Also, if you ask the expert forum Dr. Goodman might be able to give you her opinion.  She is very good.  It might take a few days.   The link is down to the right of the page.  Waiting is hard, I know and I'm very sorry that you are stressed.  The following are symptoms:
RESPONSE:There are no obvious symptoms until the disease has advanced. Then the symptoms may include:

Vague but persistent gastrointestinal complaints such as gas, nausea, indigestion.
Frequency and/or urgency of urination.
Any unexplained change in bowel habits.
Abnormal postmenopausal bleeding.
Weight gain or loss.
Abdominal swelling and/or pain; bloating and/or a feeling of fullness.
Pain during intercourse.
If vague symptoms persist longer than 4-6 weeks, insist on a thorough rectovaginal examination.

A Rectovaginal pelvic examination is when the doctor simultaneously inserts one finger in the rectum and one in the vagina.
It is helpful to take a mild laxative or enema before the pelvic exam.
Have a comprehensive family history taken by a physician knowledgeable in the risks associated with ovarian cancer. 5% to 10% of ovarian cancer has a familial link.
Every woman should undergo a regular rectal and vaginal pelvic examination. If an irregularity of the ovary is found, alternatives to evaluation include transvaginal sonography and/or tumor markers. The most common tumor marker is a blood test called the CA-125.  Hope this helps....Cindy
