Can the depo shot cause a cyst?
I stopped taking any kind of birthcontrol last june. Now i have a 5.8 dermoid cyst on my right ovary. I was on the depo shot for three years. I was wondering if the shot could have caused it.
I have not heard of a correlation between the depo shot and dermoid cysts. However, I've read of cases where the menstrual cycle didn't return to normal after stopping depo.
