I am glad you had a wonderful birthday with such a large family around you! The fireman were an added bonus but not sure I would have liked the Tornado Sirens ...Glad all of you are o.k , the others in the shelter were probably glad to have something to take there mind off the weather outside!

Thanks girls, had a wonderful time tonight, went out to eat at a hugh buffet, 4 of my kids,and  their spouses, 7 grandkids and their spouses, and 2 cute little great grands, It was so funny, they brought me a cake, with candles, they asked if they could light them,  mind you  there are 78  candles, and this big guy stepped up and said, "sure lady  light 'em up", there was a large diinner meeting of firefighters in the next room.  those guiys all came in and joined my family singing the BD song.  They were having some kind of training meeting, so one brought in a fire ax and another a fire extinguisher.  On the way home, it is about a 10 mile drive, I heard the sirens go off,  Chris and I boogied it home straight to the shelter. Several tornados were flitting around. Some of my neighbors were already at the shelter, word was passed it was my BD, so again i got seranaded by about 75  people waiting for the "all clear" to sound.  What a night to remember.  What did my kids give me?  5 hugh boxes of groceries., a gas card and a great new book on John Wayne.  I really feel loved.   Marty
