Carol 139 - V-Dot

Hi Carol - I saw one of your posts regarding the V-Dot..I am on the V-Dot since my surgery in May. I had gallbladder removed by laproscopic and then an abdominal vertical incision to remove 2 large masses 12cm and 10cm. I ended up with a full hysterectomy at 40. Unfortunately I ended up having to go back in for emergency surgery a week after for a ruptured bowel  and because I was cut 2x in the same week i needed a wound vac for almost 3 weeks to help heal the wound. I was put on the vivelle dot patch when I came home from the hospital and started on 1.0 and now i am down to 0.5. I occassionally have a hot flash nothing terrible and for the most part feel ok..I did some research and found that it is better to try hormones that come from a plant deritative..which it does..I am extremely tired alot dont know if that contributes..I wish you lots of luck on Tuesday and please keep us posted!!!! Oh boy, Gia, you had a time of it!  Thank goodness you are here to tell others about it and to help!  Bless you.

I'm going today - the only script I am on is for high blood pressure - 25mg of hydrochlorthorizide (spelling?)  

I'll ask about plant derivatives.
