probablly, yes. My mom never full regained the ability to walk after surgery and chemo...we never knew fully why (nor did anyone really care to investigate further...American medicine at it's best).
Are you on any pain medication as well? That can contribute...but yes, follow up with your doctor and get a referral to a ENT doctor to get that side checked out. If nothing, return to primary care (or oncologist) to pursue further.
Please go to your primary doctor. Simply Star I hope is right.
But since it has been three times that concerns. I don't know your health history or anything. Simply Star gave you the best case scenario. Now I will give you the worst case. This is our job on this forum.
Mini stroke-----we are all prone to blood clots whatever our health or age while on chemo.
I had it go to the brain which is a 2 percent rarity at IIIC. I very very very much doubt yours has---but falling is a symptom, loosing balance.
Best of luck on finding out why and don't give up!!!
because your immune system is low right now, I think the first thing I would do about the falling is get my ears checked. Nothing throws your equilibrium off more than an innner ear infection. At my age I am terribly afraid of falling, so I am very aware of all my steps, I now walk like the "old lady" I am. If you fall in the house, why not use a cane or a walker for a temporary fix.
