Chemotherapy Agent

My wife 31 years old operated for OV cancer and Total removal of organs including pelvic / para aortic Lymphnodes is done and on histology the Tumour was Stage 1a / Grade 1 endometrioid adenocarcinoma with tumor reaching very close to capsule but capsule intact. All other biopsy are negative. Tumor weighed 270Gms and was found adherent to posterior peritonium.
Opearting surgeon is of opinion to give combinaion treatment od carboplatin + Taxol while Oncologist is of opinion to give a single agent chemoptherapy only with Carboplation.
We are confused and can any one please advice us.

I am a stage 1A OvCa survivor.  I did NOT have any chemo.  I am almost 10 years out...Sept will be 10 years.

We aren't doctors...but I can tell you that stage 1A is highly curable, especially for endometrioid cancer.  Can you get a second opinion?

I'm a survivor of endometrioid ovarian cancer, stage 1C. I had both carbo and taxotere. It was not very hard on me, and I'm glad my doctors were so thorough. Here I am, cancer free after more than three years, feeling good.

Good luck on your decision.  Best of luck to your wife, too.
