  Hi! I just wanted you all to know that I haven't forgotten you. I have been sick the last week or so. Not real sure what is wrong, it may just be the chemo. But my CA125 has jumped sky high for some reason, from 1344 to up over 3000 in just 2 weeks. Don't know whats up with that. But my Dr is with holding chemo and I go in for a CT scan tomorrow so maybe we can find out what is going on. I will try to get some of my notes and messages answered this evening as it is hard telling what I will feel like tomorrow. Hopefully this will all pass.
  Anyway, I am not just letting things go. I am still recieving bids for our hotel plus I have been in touch with the American Cancer Society who was so much help for us last year
   For those of you who want to come but are worried about hotel finances, many of the hotels I have seen will let you have up to 4 per room. Even if they will only allow 2, I am sure that we can get around that. And those of you either flying in or taking the train, please do not worry as we will make sure that you will have a ride. I am trying my best to make this as inexpensive as I possibly can for everyone.
   I want you all to know how very excited I am that so many are planning on coming. I just hope that everyone who wants to will be able. I will try my best on the financial end of things and as I said, those of us driving will make sure that cabs and such are not needed. I will probably wait until the middle of next month before I actually decide on and try to get the rooms reserved for the hotel so that will help give everyone a little time to figure out if they can come. When I decide for sure I will post the price per night and all of the info that you will need.
   Well I just wanted to update you all and let you know that I am still working on things even though I have not been on this week. I just have not felt up to it. But this will happen no matter what, you can count on that!

Hope you get to feeling better, and the CT scan results are good.  I'm sure they're going to check for inflammation and infection as well.  They both wreck havoc with the CA-125.

So sorry you are feeling poorly, I wanted to let you know that I will come to Chicago, if just to meet you, and of course the others, I remember one nurses convention I went to, years ago, there were 7 of us in one room, I slept in the bathtub,  2 sleeping bags  , a pillow  and some wine and I slept well.   LOL
