Chris is home

Hi all..Chris is out of the hospital, and back home at her moms. didn't talk with her long today, as her home nurse is coming in, and she is tired. Most of her conversation was about still trying to make the event, I think it will be too long of a drive for her at this point? but would be pleasantly surprised if she does make it in. She is shipping me a box of her items for the rememberance ceremony, just in case. I have cancelled her hotel reservation, and if she and her friend Janet get here..they will stay here with me. She is going in tomorrow to see the doc, and have an MRI done of the brain, her other scans while in hospital came back fine. Her kidney function is at 40%, but what is working, is working fine. The doc told her mom, she noticed Chris was having some confusion..so is running the scan to be on the safe side. Her mom told me Chris is sleeping most of the time. Chris is saying she is just hoping they can get things straightened out for her to be well enough to attend. So I guess it is still wait and see at this point.
Take care

Hi Cjhris,  first off, take care of yourself,  your health is the most important thing right now ,  if you feel your body is capable of the Chicago trip, then by all means go, but if your heart tells you it might  take more from you than you can handle , then stay home and get strong, better days will come soon and we want you to be there  to enjoy them.   I am taking some special balloons along to AZ to release, 3 of them I will  put up for you, Red for courage, White for peace and Blue for LOVE, , you know you mean an awful lot to me and have since I first came here, so all I ask of you , is to listen to your body, let it tell you what to do.  Love Marty  hugs

Thinking of you, as always, Chris. I truly hope (and will pray) that you feel better soon. I too am hopeful you can make it to Chicago...I feel sick that I can't go and I know how upset you'll be if you can't make it either. You and I both know though, how important it is to take care of ourselves and listen to our bodies...of course even when they scream at us, it's easy to ignore!
Be well my friend...sending positives vibes your way :)

Oh, Chris, please take care of yourself.  You have always been so strong for everyone here.  It is time to just take it easy and get better.  I will hope you can make the trip, but is may be more realistic to stay home and heal.

Love and prayers,

Judy C

Chris:  you sure are a fighter. I'm hoping you can stir up enough energy to make it to the event. But I hope you also know that everyone wants you to take care of yourself first and foremost. Getting together is fantastic but we want you to stick around for as long as possible and if that means staying home, then so be it. You behave young lady.

hugs,  irene
