any time you have questions and or concerned you should contact your GYN/ONC....no matter what the question or concern is....that I was told from my GYN/ONC....you are not feeling right, your GP is concerned....you call. When was your last visit with the GYN/ONC?
There will be others that will come along and let you know what if any symptoms they before being diagnosised with a recurrence....I know that some show in their routine CA125s, and/or CT Scans and others exhibit symptoms which lead the doctors to taking additional tests.
Please let us know what happens when you speak to your GYN/ONC? I'll be thinking about you.
Thanks! My last visit with gyn/onc was in December. Had a CA125 then and it was ok.
When my recurrence was diagnosed, it first showed up in a slight rise in the CA125. Then I started hurting just like I had in the beginning.
Leslee's recur showed up with a doubling of the CA125, and discomfort in the low pelvis her readings were , 12 18 36 2 weeks apart.
I was nauseated, my family practice physician ordered and upper gi, however because I had OC the CT pelvis and abdomen was also done. That is how my recurrance was noted. Have you had a scan recently? My CA 125 does not rise. Good luck, see the GYN/ONC
I really didn't have any symptoms, but my recurrence was caught through my regular 3 month CT scans. When I think back, I maybe had a hard time with constipation, but it was really only for a week or two. Please go see your gyne/onc soon...best of luck,
Becky
