    Someone asked who the Battalion was on an earlier thread.  Weel, we are women who met on this very site over the last several years.  Battalion Cysters everywhere!  There are Cysters in live in your own town, or they may live in Australia.  Wherever Cysters live, they cooperate in exposing the Beast that takes the women we love. the trip was fantastic.  A 3 BR town house with all the trimmings, snowed everyday , so the skiers were happy. My 5 little grand daughters are jewels. Deer came right up the the living room windows and the girls got to feed them. Ate and drank wonderfully every day. The mountains were beautiful, the shopping out of this world.  Bought lots of fudge and huckleberry Jam, Spent time with my AZ son, he is the only one to move away from Iowa. Visited Glacier Nat Park but didn't get to see the glacier, evidently you can only see it in the summer time and you have to hike in . Went gambling 1 night with son, the slots were good to me. Those 14 month old twins are adorable, would liked to have brought them home with me. Got to tell bed time stories every night. Jacuzzi felt good to these old bones. Went to a indoor water park, the slide tube goes outdoors and then into the pool. Played??? 1 game of racket ball, against the 9 and the 7 year olds and they beat me , hands down. Did a hugh puzzle, I brought it home  and will put it back together and use puzzle save and frame it, and give it to them in June when I go to AZ for a visit. Most exciting thing that happened  was the second night we were there, lost all power for 7 hours,6:30-1:30 the place is completely electric, we dug out all the blankets, they brought us candles, so we survived. Ordered Pizza and the guy couldn't find the place in the dark. Finally found out why grammas are called na na, that is the only thing I could get the twins to call me. Flights were so so, they are all cutting way back on service. Airport food is very expensive too. $1.60 for a 12 ounce bottle of H2O. $7.50 for a hamburger. Took along a lot of Disney stickers for the girls to put in books, they put them on the windows, not the kind that peel off easily, had to tell maintance to bring razor blades when they clean up for the next occupants.

yes!!!!!!!!  two days, I havent partied two days in a row for like 10yrs.  Im up for anything.

hi everyone. sorry i am late too. just had to stop by for this great party .  i brought some veggies and ranch dip plate. for those of you who are on a diet. so all men are dogs or what? just kidding . just thought it might be a great girl subject. the hot tub looks great. i know you'd have the tub going thats why i showed up with a trenj coat and a bathing suit underneath. sorry its not really a pretty picture. i must have gained like 8 lbs this month. i am in california and its 3pm here, but i can party 24/7. oh and i brought some tequila so we can stop the games and just go for the shots. hahahah. so how is everyone?

sorry to miss the party, sounds like a good one.  Where we stayed had a Jacuzzi right out the side door to the deck. Snow and ice every where  and nice hot water to soak in , loved it. Thought of you all while in the tub, and toasted everyone with real drinks.

G'day Everyone...it's good to get together with you all, and celebrate my birthday on the 18th.Feb. This is the third one since dx in '04, so each one is precious, right? I've brought along some good red wine...Pinot Noir to be exact... really good Aussie wine, so I hope you all like it. Just want to say thanks to you all for your friendship... and good advice etc. It's great to have the support as we fight this lousy disease together. Well, I'm going to enjoy the hot tub for a while...relax before I see my Oncol. tomorrow to find out what the CA.125 latest is. Looking for another drop.
Hope you fellow 'tubbies' are feeling fine, enjoying the wine, and having fun.

Ermmm...ah, no, I did not go in for the Ultrasound. But, I do see my doctor on March 1 for my annual physical. I am sure he will ask about it.  When he asks why I have no more pain, can I just tell him "bodyrolling!"

Goodnight all. Now husband is coming down with this dumb bug again. And, he is the one who started the whole thing. Wouldn't kiss me on the lips last night, but was fine sharing my ice cream!

I always loved New Orleans, too.  Used to be able to get ROUND TRIP flights to and from Nashville for $60!!  So I went several times in 2000, 2001, and 2002.  Always tried to stay in the Garden District because I prefered that to the French Quarter.  Always something wonderful to do and see...and never do the same thing twice.  I never ventured down there during Mardi Gras, though.  I'm always up for a good party, but that might be too much of a good thing for me!!  lol!

By the way, your white chocolate raspberry cheesecake sounds divine!  

About the only thing good I have to eat is a Life Savors sherbet...but you all are welcome to it!  Also have some Aussie beer my husband might share.  Found a store about 40 miles away that sells his favorite beer...when they get it in stock, that is.  It's about $8 a 6-pack, but I suppose it's worth it to be able to get it in Kentucky.
