Hi All! Sorry I'm late... I went out (again!) for Valentines Dinner. Just getting back now, and even though it's only 10:45pm, I'm sad to say, it's bedtime. We'll have to try this again next weekend!
Have a good one!

Hi all, no sweetie to take me out for Valentine day :(  oh well...lol. I haven't travelled much, but did manage to get to New Orleans for Mardi Gras in '98.  Was devasted to see what Katrina did - all those beautiful homes and all the people who had to leave - so sad.  We had a good time in New Orleans and it was quite memorable experience.  People were very friendly.

I have some wonderful white chocolate raspberry cheesecake everyone - help yourself!

Now that's a good story! Stuck on a hot guys lap and some smooching in Italy, sounds like a perfect trip.

My favorite place is the state of Alaska.  I can't actually decide what town I liked best though.  Mt. McKinley is a sight to see and watching the sunset in the mountains is priceless.  My dad worked for BP up at Prudhoe Bay, since my parents divorced when I was 5, I spent all of my summers/spring breaks in Anchorage with my dad and little sister.  He bought a big RV and would take us girls all around the state.  We hiked, camped and the best was salmon fishing.  One spring we drove down to Portage and I actually got walk on the glacier itself.  It was a big thrill for me being from Texas, never really seeing real snow, glaciers and clear rivers. However the one thing Alaska and Texas have in common is mosquitoes!  They could easily qualify for the state bird! LOL
