Deandra-how are you?

Deandra--I read in a post that you may be in the hospital. How are you feeling. This takes a toll mentally and physcially on us. Are you alright?

Anytime you are able to answer, I have a friend in the Boulder area. I was wondering what hair salon you work at? (when of course able to work).

Please keep the fluids in you. I find certain drinks tough to handle with my stomach and then discovered strawberry, banana, yogurt shake so helpful. Everyone has to find their compatible foods.  A lot of times I force myself to eat during those bad days but go light.

Sending you prayers and love that you get better.  Helen

Hi Deandra--you know after I posted this I thought maybe she is doing the reversal. So I am happy you are not ill. My prayers are with you that you recover well. I will be thinking positive thoughts about you Feb. 4th. It will be wonderful to get rid of that bag!

My fatigue has gotten a lot better. I believe this chemo is working.

Have you looked into vaccines. When you have advanced ovarian, and one line of chemo you are eligible for the vaccine trials. Just a thought. They had a good report on one up in Rochester. Ask your oncologist.

Lots of love, Helen

Hi Helen - thank you so much for thinking of me. I was not in the hospital, but will be for a week on Feb 4th. I have my colostomy reversal and 2nd look surgery. I am very excited, but obviously a little nervous. I asked my onc/gyn what kind of recovery time for these procedures, and he said a little less than my hysto...yikes!! Oh well, at least I will be done with "the bag"  How are you feeling? With love, Deandra
