Thank you both so much...It's really good advice, I appreciate you taking time to help me! :)
NYC Lady offered great advice. I just wanted to add that I had all those symptoms and was worried about ovarian cancer, went to doctors for a year (couldn't find anything) and then about 3 months ago, started having pains like you are having about every 2 weeks, kept thinking I had a stomach virus, they were sort of like labor pains, came in waves and would crest, but I finally went to the ER because it was just so bad, I literally could not take it anymore - I had two things wrong that aren't even related to cysts (although I have those) or ovarian cancer. I had chronic appendicitis (the pain every 2 weeks - and it was in my whole stomach, not just the right side) and had to have my appendix out. When they opened me up for that, they found that a foot of my intestine was scarred and twisted and they cut that out too. I had xrays and CT scan and they didn't see the intestine. I just want you to have this knowledge too so you can ask your doctor about it. I wrote about it in a journal that you can read also. It is always good to have all information available. Good luck and I hope to hear you are alright!
The symptoms of ovarian cancer are bloating, feeling of fullness, change in bowel habits, fatigue, heartburn. The pain could be cysts bursting. It is very normal for cysts to form on your ovaries at different times in your cycle and sometimes those cysts burst causing a lot of pain. As far as I know, there must be tumors of some sort in order to have OvCa...if there was a cyst in the CT Scan and gone in the sono that the cyst burst or went away.
If the pain continues, track the times of the month that it happens and discuss it with a gyn.
Best of luck to you and for more information on cysts, you might want to go to the cyst forum.
