Discomfort

Hello everyone. I am 25yrs old. And have experienced more with my left ovary then I wanted to. I have been in pain since Dec. and it can drive you crazy. I had a laproscopy in dec. and my cyst was drained. About 2mths ago I had to have an open incision from your belly button to your pubic hair line. That cyst had came back and tore my urinary tract up and my colon I had to get all of that reconstructed. So I am still on leave from my job. I have had alittle discomfort on my left side and I asked my doctor about it. He said it was in the healing process because I had had an major surgery. I just want to ask all the strong ladies on this website how did you feel after your surgery as far as the inside of your body and how long? I will really appreciate your input. Thanks

After my surgery, I felt like a train wreck for the first week. Felt better the second (more Mack truck than train :), and 'twinge-y' for the next two after that. Still have occasional twinges 9 weeks post-op, but they are supposed to be normal. I have an appt for another Depo shot on 8/31... think I'm gonna ask them for another TVUS since stuff is still twinging in there.
Hang in there....

I think I felt mutilated with an ovary/tube/appendix removed, just so so so so sore, but it is going away and healing fast, I'm almost 2 weeks post op, but who knows what the future holds?  I hope you have good medical care and can get all your post-op nagging pain questions answered.  Good luck to you!
