ovarian cyst
i am 27 y/o and i had a d&c and laparoscopic surgery to remove 2 cysts (1 on each ovary) 6 weeks ago... when should i expect my period or might i be pregnant already?
You were able to have sex less than 6 weeks after surgery??? You must be superwoman!
Your first period after a surgery is usually later than usual... your body had invasive procedures done, plus you had a D&C, which means that there's not alot of tissue for the body to get rid of right now, and it knows that. I didn't get my first one until mid June, and I had surgery 5/18.
Not sure if you could be pregnant or not, since there's really nothing after the D&C for the embryo to attach to yet, but pregnancy is definately not my specialty!
