Pet/Cat vs just Pet or Cat

My Dr ordered a Pet/Cat,  the place just did a Pet.
Now I have to go for a Cat,  don't we go thru enough,  without these errors.....

I don't trust anyone and do actually book everything myself and just bring the prescription with me when I go --- even my docs forget to do all the bloodwork and I tell the lab techs what to draw for -- my doc has just accepted that I'm tired of mistakes and the lab knows I haven't been wrong yet....
Sorry you guys have had a bad time made even worse by the nincompoops (sp?)

Same thing happened to me...I was supposed to get a pelvic MRI - I phoned ahead to confirm it was a pelvic and she said yes. I get there and the tech tells me it's an abdominal - not happy! I had to travel almost 2 hours to have it done and I had to go back the following week to have the pelvic MRI done. What a waste of my good energy!
Even when I try to avoid these errors (by calling ahead to confirm) I still get messed up! I sometimes wish we could book these things ourselves....

That would just send me over the railing!!!  How can they be so inept?? Hopefully the Dr. will give her an ear full,as she did not even follow the order!!!  Sorry you'll have to have another test..but it's better to be safe.  ~~~Joanne

I just went for my MRI and was supposed to get full abdomen and pelvic   I asked Technician  twice if this will include abdomen and she said  yes. She was getting annoyed with my questions. Today I received my report and it said: "The abdomen was not imaged by MRI'
Is she suffering with short span memory or what?
What would you do in this case? I had to travel a long distance to get this MRI. Did not speak to my OMC yet.Wonder what she will say.
