Estrogen sensitive Ovarian Cancer

To  Jatoo or anyone who has info on this.

Jatoo spoke earlier regarding Femara and being estrogen sensitive.  Do doctor first want to check you if your cancer cells are estrogen sensitive or do they just give Femara without realy knowing if it works for your particularly?
Any info would be great.  My Mom is soon aproaching the end to her 6 cycle treatment for recurrence and this is something that we want to discuss for after chemo treatment.  I hope her doctor will be open to this.

The Univ. of Edinburgh (in Scotland) recent released their hormonal therapy study which is getting much buzz...this can be something she brings up with the oncologist because of it's success with oestrogen ovarian cancer:
