Fibroids, Cysts, and Retroverted Uterus

Hello, I'm 35 years old and I've been having some issues and could really use your help. This last month, I've been having some serious stomach issues. I've been bloated, horrible indigestion, acid reflux, nausea, back and chest pain. I went to the ER 1/29/16, after a CT scan and Ultrasound, the DR found a cyst on my right ovary, a pedunculated fibroid outside my uterus(which is retroverted). I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3years ago, but never experienced these issues. I'm writing to see if anyone else has experienced these symptoms? My gut is telling me it's related to my female issues and not my stomach. I just had an endoscopy/colonoscopy 2/24/16. He found a little inflammation(that was biopsied) everything else was good to go. I can't gage my symptoms based on everyone else's, I've been on Depo-Provera for the last 10 years, so I don't have a monthly cycle. But I do experience cramping and abdominal pain around the time I refill my Depo. That pain is nowhere near what I experienced this time around.

I am sorry. Doctors are so specialized they have to pass us around. I was sent to a gastro, a surgeon, a heart specialist, and a GYN. No one could figure it out. The GP finally did. I hope in your case it is something other than cancer. I know you are worried. May be the GP can order a CA125 blood test to at least take cancer out of the equation. MY GP thought I was a hypochondriac then she diagnosed me with MS and cancer. She now realizes I am actually stoic. I wish doctors were like veterinarians who work on the whole animal. They have patients who can't tell them anything. Human doctors do not listen to their patients.

Ohhh HVAC, I was praying you responded to this question!! When going through various threads you always have the best answer. I just can't stop obsessing over this. I mean I never get sick, not even common colds. Whatever this is has had me down and out for over 3 weeks. The ER doc told me to follow up with my Gyn, my Gyn bounced me back to my family doctor, she bounced me to a gastroenterologist and I'm still waiting.

An ovarian cyst even a benign one depending on where it is pressing can cause all kinds of trouble. You could ask for a CA125 to rule out ovarian cancer. What you are describing does not sound like it but I am not a doctor and it does get missed. They could also repeat the ultrasound or take the cyst out. Again I am not a doctor so I do not have the answer. I just know what options may be out there. A woman has 1.4% of ovarian cancer in her lifetime if she does not have the BRCA gene for cancer at your age it is less. Over 98% of ovarian cysts are benign. That said OC is over looked so you are good to check.
