Finally home from surgery and confused

Hi All.  Firstly, thank you all for your wonderful support.  I had my lap, cystoscopy and D & C 2 days ago and am still none the wiser.  In recover I, with my husband asked how it all went (complex cyst on left ovary) and was told that he would see me on the 7th of June - to say I was not happy would be an understatement so yesterday I called him to ask what happened.  All he said was that all looked ok and was waiting for patholgy to come back from the D & C. I asked about the complex cyst and was told it had gone - is this possible in just 17 days??  He also said that I would bleed for another few days - compared to bleeding for the past 58 days, I am starting to think it is normal, just hope it stops and soon!!  I guess I am just so confused knowing that my body is not feeling or doing anything normal and now I have to wait so long to see him.  Think I picked the wrong doctor.  Any words of advise would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks heaps for letting me vent my frustrations.  Thoughts to all! ~ Kerrie

IT sounds like his bedside manner leaves much to be dwsired.   I wonder if he meant the cyst was gone by itself or if he removed it.  I had  complex cysts that vanished after watching them for 6 months.  My lap revealed no useful information.  Good luck to you and keep us posted.

Yes, perhaps you can call back and clarify if he removed the cyst or if it went away on its own.  Many ovarian cysts do resolve within a month or two.  Mine went from 5 cm to 1.3 cm in 3 weeks.
