First Annual Care and Prayer Circle

Hello Cysters,
This may be presumptious of me but I think what we all need now is a "Care and  Prayer Circle". It's been a hard week, some good....unfortunantley, a lot bad. To me a "Care and Prayer Circle" is just one person reaching out to the next expressing prayer ,if you believe, or care for yourself or for someone else. Just speak your thoughts about how YOU are feeling. It doesn't matter if you're sad or mad.....we just need to reach out and hold hands!!!!
I'll go ,first. I care deeply , already, about some special friends I've met on this forum. I'm sad and praying for Jan , as she lies in her hospital bed. I'm thinking Happy birthday to Kimmie on Sunday and am praying that her and her daughter ,finally, get to go home on Monday. Now, I reach out my hand to the next person willing to grasp my hand and and express what is in their heart......let's make this the MOST REPLIES EVER because you, me ,and everyone on this forum deserves this!
For those that know me, you know what's coming next.........
                           HUGS, all around,
                                    Shari

I take Sandy's hand...and continue the prayer circle

For all things work together for the good of those who are faithful and believe in his holy word.  I also take the time now, Lord, to lift up others in prayer with me on the strength of my forefathers and foremothers who have prayed prayers for my generation.  I turn to them as well to let them know that I accept their praying for us then so that we may prosper today.  Amen

I grab your hand, Marty!!!! It's me, Shari, who asked for this "prayer/care circle". I thank God for all these strong women and their ability to to face this disease, care for others, get up and walk the day after surgery, and just to reach out and grab anither's hand!!!!!  I am so thankful for my friend, Rosemary, who was with me every step of the way (thanks, for trying to get them to turn up my pain pump, even though it didn't work). I'm thankful for my husband, Dave, who I think was more scared than me (hard to believe!!!!). Thank-you for my sons.....this scared the heck out of them.....and it has been a harder thing than I can ever begin to explain because of "life's circumstances".  May God bless us and keeep us in His care. Thank-you, ladies, for making me, again, believe in human kindness and just our ability to...."join hands"
                    Hugs, all around,
                         Shari
P.S. Hey, who is going to grab my hand????

I too join hands with a circle of friends to pray that this too shall pass, I ask each night for Jesus to lay His healing  and loving hands on all of you.  There is such power in Prayer when it is lifted up for the sake of others,  I ask also for that  person,  that is going to be responsible for curing this dread disease to be found and given the power to broadcast, to the world,  a salvation for all of those that are and will be suffering. Ask and you shall receive,  Jesus promised me this.   Marty

I take Maries hand in prayer for all of us here. Whether we are fighting cancer or we are caregivers, or just afraid of what is going on. For those of you who are facing up coming surgeries, I pray that you recieve only the best of news. For those of you recently diagnosed I pray for you to have the stength to fight this monster. For you that are caregivers I pray that your strength and support of you loved ones may continue. For those of you currently on chemo I pray that this will be the one to conquer this beast you are fighting. For those of you that are sick and feeling down I pray that you will begin feeling better, and that things will continue to get better. Mostly, for all of us, I pray that one day soon, a cure for this disease will be found, along with an early detection test. We have lost far to many sisters. And for those we have lost, may you rest in peace.
I cannot close without saying a prayer also for all of the wonderful women (and men) that have been here for me and helped me through everything I have come up against along the way, whether good or bad. I love you all!
  Amen

I take Lori's hand and pray for everyone I've met here on this forum and for those I will soon meet. I pray Lori has an easy time with her surgery. I pray for those in the hospital feeling so sick. I pray that those in remission remain so indefinitely. I pray that those that are carrying this monster cancer inside them and don't know it are diagnosed soon and get proper care. I pray that the doctors better learn to listen to us. I pray the research moves quickly to find better treatments, better screening tests and of course a cure. I pray for comfort and strength for all of our families. I also say a prayer of thanksgiving for all of the wonderful friends I have met here. I thank God for Sharri. Amen

I'll take your hand, Ronni...
Dear Lord, I would like to pray for every person affected by this dreaded disease, whether it be directly, family or care giver.  Lord, give each person a measure of comfort and love that only you can give.  Help us all to see your work at hand, no matter what, for there are reasons that only you know when we do not.  Lord, I pray for this forum.  Keep it strong and loving.  Thank you for bringing us all together here.  We've seen your work and that is a gift for us.  Hold all those closely who are hurting whether it be emotionally or physically.  I pray for healing, patience, love, comfort, guidance, hope, mercy, grace, forgiveness.  Lord all these things describe you perfectly.  Please bless all those who come here and help us to see your blessings and be thankful.

Thank you, Lord
Amen

I would like to pray for a way to detect this disease early and for a more effective way of treating it. I would also like to extend my prayers to all those like Cirella who are about to face surgery and those like Ireneo, Belphi and Shari and anyone else who have just completed their surgeries. My prayers go to all those suffering this disease and are having difficult times lately....Brownie, Crecco, Butterfly, Jan, Kimmie, Paula, Lynnsey and anyone else who has been having a hard time lately. I want to pray that those who have this dreaded disease....Kimchi, Leslee, Mary, Dian, Helen, Freshair, Vegas, Shelly, PinkTissue's mom, and anyone else my terrible lapse in memory forgot. Please watch over their caretakers and the doctors that treat them so that they receive the best care and love possible. May all of you find the positive attitude and fight you need and all the comfort you need.
