Please make sure you tell your doctor that your mom had ovarian cancer. They should be willing to run the necessary tests. Let me know what happens this week and best of luck, prayers!

No one on here is a doctor, so they can't tell you if you have cancer or not; however, they can give you advice on testing, etc. and I am sure you will get more replies.  You can also post your question on the doctor's forum. She is good about replying. Wait and see what your second ultrasound shows and have a list of questions ready for your doctor when she discusses it with you. I can speak from experience of a thickened lining. I have had 3 endometrial biopsies to test for cancer and all came back negative. I just had a thickened lining, normal for me.  So, I would ask the doctor, do they plan on doing an endometrial biopsy, a simple procedure done in the doctor's office.  Also, please tell her on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad the pain is. You have to be your own advocate and let the doctor know.  Please come back on and let us know what your 2nd ultrasound shows and I wish you the best. I am sorry you are in pain.
