Pain after lapartomy surgery. Is this kind of pain normal

I am 28 years old and I just had my a 4 1/2 inch cyst and my left ovary removed last wednesday.  And I am still having to take 600 mg motrin every six hours.  I am feeling better but  on my left side up on my stomach i get a constant burning pain on the inside with some sharp pains. When i take the motrin it goes away. But i guess I just was wondering is this kind of pain normal to feel after having your ovary removed.  It feels like I am on fire from the inside its not unbearable but I do still  have to take the motrin.

it takes 2 to 4 weeks  or more sometimes for internal healing to happen after surgical removal of the ovary.
