Worried....

So I just moved to a new state and since I have been here I feel like everything is falling apart. In December I went to the ER because I was having pelvic pain to the point I couldn't stand up. She did a pelvic exam while I was there and found a cyst. She called the OB/GYN office and they said they would call me and work out an apt. I was not able to get in until Jan 8th. During that time the pain stopped. At the OB/GYN office be just did a PAP and set me up for an ultra sound. I was able to get into that about 2 weeks later. She informed that my cyst ruptured but that there was still fluid, she also told me I should get some blood work done to rule out anything else. I am having a hard time getting them to order the blood work. I am in extreme pelvic pain. I cant just go to another doctor because we are on a military post. I worried and scared that it is Ovarian Cancer, I have all the symptoms.

Blood work alone can't rule out ovarian cancer.  According to the tumor marker blood tests I should be cancer-free.  I am not.  The fact that the ultra-sound did not show anything worrysome is a good sign.  Being still in pain though, you must keep trying to find the source of that pain.  Some women have painful cysts that rupture monthly. There are many things that could be causing the trouble.   You may not be receiving responses to your question because of your profile. It shows no information on you but has you listed as male.  You may want to take the time to give more info then maybe someone will be able to help.  Good luck. Marie
