Help

I was told that I have PCOS by my obgyn, I she informed me that the only way to get rid of these cysts is to take birth control pills. I have been placed on the high and low estrogen pill. My question is that my husband & I are ready to have a child and it's creating a problem. She mention that after 5-6 month the cysts should go away. Even if they go away would I be able to have children or not? By taking those pill they make me sick. Is their any hope for me!!!

Just wanted to mention that I have a friend who had a really bad case of PCOS and she has been able to have kids!   Don't worry...the chances are good that you will conceive.  Take care.

Hi ,  my friend has PCOS and was prescribed  metformin by the doctor , this is a diabetic drug and  they prescribe it  frequently in the UK  she has also to watch her diet and lose weight and exercise as many people with PCOS have insulin resistance. She has had two children despite having the condition so it is possible .  Hope this helps , take care love Angie xx
