Home from hospital

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who prayed for me, answered my questions and supported me here.  I had a laparotomy on Friday 2/1/08 to remove my right ovary and a large cyst.  The dr said the cyst was the size of a large canteloupe melon but thankfully the pathology report came back as benign.  They also removed my appendix.  So far I am feeling pretty good especially if I just stay in one position.  Getting in and out of bed is really painful but overall my pain level is better today than it was yesterday.  

Thanks again for your support and I hope and pray that others here have good outcomes also.

Welcome home, glad to hear it was benign!  Wonder if all doctor's compare tumors and cysts to sizes as fruit or food.
Size of a pea. Size of a robin's egg.  Size of a chicken egg. Size of a lemon. Size of an orange. Size of a grapefruit. Size of a cantelope.
