My surgery went well, the Dr. only removed the cyst on my right ovary and fibroids in my uterus. I am so glad the surgery turned out well, I went back to work today.

Best of luck with your surgery tomorrow.  Hopefully they will be able to take only  the cyst.  I am scheduled for surgery on the 7th and will have both ovaries out along with the cyst since I am 59.

I am having a laparoscopy tomorrow 01/29, because I also have a cyst on my right ovary, I am praying that my ovary will not be removed because I want to have more children I only have one child,  I was very nervous and streesed last week about the surgery but I have been praying and my faith and hope took over my fears, take care and I will let u know how my surgery went.

God bless you!

hi, if you are curious about the cyst you might try calling your doctor's office and having them mail or fax you your Ultrasound or other test results. It was helpful for me to read what the report actually said and also be able to find out more information. I am in a similar situation w/ a cystic/solid mass on my rt.ovary.  my mass was found accidentally also and i don't have any risk factors for cancer or symptoms. Just keep asking questions until you get answers.  Hope all goes well for you.
