How can I help my mom?

My Mom had her 1st chemo treatment 4 days ago.  She is completely wiped out and I haven't been able to even speak to her by phone since Day 2.  What can I do to help?  We don't live in the same city.  When can I expect her to feel up to talking?  Feeling helpless.  Thanks.
