ovarian cancer recurrance

Hi,
I was diagnosed with stage 111 ov ca in January, 1997.  To-date, I have not suffered a reccurance.  At the time of my hysterectomy, cancer was detected on my colon and liver.  The chemotherapy treatments saved my life.  Over the past six months, I have lost a dramatic amount of weight and feel tired and weak most of the time.  Many of my symptoms are duplicating my original ov ca symptoms.  Do you think I may be experiencing a reccurance in my bowels?? I have no rectal bleeding but lately have some stomach discomfort and increased gas.  Thank you in advance for your council.
Kim

I agree with both ladies. Find out what is going on, it could be a lot of things. A ct scan would probably be a good start. Best wishes

You really should see your doctor immediately -- whether it's a recurrence or something else you should not only find the source of the problem but get it treated -- you can't afford to get really run down, just in case.......

Hi Kim,
firstly , sorry to hear you are going through this, you definately should see your doctor about your symptoms asap . It may just be irritable bowel , but its best not to leave anything to chance, especially as you say these are the same symptoms as you were having before. You need to get to the bottom of this asap and rule out a reccurance.
Hope everything turns out well for you .

Take care , Best wishes Angie
