Chris, when it comes down to booking hotel rooms and such we need to not discuss that on the open forum. With the whack jobs we have, we have to make sure that everyone who is coming is who they say they are. I am not sure yet how to do that, but we are a group of sitting ducks for just about any whacko once we are up there as a group. There have been people responding that none of us know and I am not comfortable with that. I guess I didn't think about this as much as I should have.
I am glad as well that you are going thru with the planning of this get together.I don't know what happened either but in any organization or group that I have been a part of there has to be someone that is willing to do the foot/mind work to get something started or in most cases it never gets off the ground. So I applaud you Chris for stepping up to the plate and doing what you feel is in the best interest of the ladies here.
I'm not sure I will be attending, but there is a good possiblity I will,so when all info is in,just post it out there and they will come!
Best wishes to you,Mary Ann
So glad the event is still on Chris, I am sure whoever got hurt by this, will come around and see you just want to hold this for all of us to get together. Thats all that matters

I know how excited you have been about the gathering. I also know you started back in late March and on your April 6 and 8 post you were still asking for help and suggestions. I admire you for all your work with everything else that has been going on with you. I can't put together a dinner at home for me and Johnny myself. Keep up the good work. Donna
Chris,
I only wish I was able to go, so that I could actually meet all the wonderful women on here and I have followed the posts just to see what you all are planning. I think it will be wonderful for you and the other ladies on here to meet and hopefully, get the word out about OVCA. It's like any thing that you "join" in life, PTA, Church groups, etc.... there is always someone not happy but I say, too bad - Chris is doing the work and I applaud you for that. I am hoping the hurt feelings go away!
Colleen
Chris,
Keep up the great job. Regarding a slogan, how about "Beat the Beast - Submission and Remission"
Perhaps my dry sense of humor. But that's how I've been feeling recently with trying to help my mom.
