I ended up with pneumonia

I just wanted everyone to know that I am okay...now. I had the chemo postponed again.... I had one treatment and caught a cold that many of you knew that I was fighting, well went to the hospital a couple days ago and found out that I had pneumonia. Absolutely unbelievable! The only reason I went was because my whole body hurt and I could not eat. I thought that it was a side effect of the chemo. I haven't worked in about three weeks, and my older kids are helping with the younger ones. I am so frustrated right now because my husband has a sinus infection and all I am hearing is ahhh I dont feel good over and over and over. I finally told him to shut up and go to bed, my goodness I know sinus infections dont feel that great but come on. I havent said that i feel horrible more than a couple of times and that was when I obviously overdid it. Sorry I am just venting, I am so frustrated with all of this and then to be told that this could take weeks to heal completely. I also need advice, has anyone else supposed to be having chemo and contracted pneumonia? What was done and when could you get on with what you really are supposed to be doing?

I hope you get to feeling better soon. I have not had anything yet during chemo, but pneumonia is serious enough by itsself. Try to  rest and get well, then you can get back on track with your chemo. best wishes and a speedy recovery...Donna
