I'm home!

I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers over these past several days.  I had surgery this morning at 7:30am this morning for what turned out to be an 11 cm mucinous cyst.  The final pathology is not back yet but the frozen section was benign and my doctor said the cyst was all mucous.  It had taken over all of my ovary and half of the tube so all was removed successfully by laparascopy.  I am very sore and loopy from the drugs but am ever so blessed and grateful for a happy ending.  This experience has been a real wake-up call for me and I will never ever ignore the warning signs that my body gives me again.  I hope that my experience can benefit others who come to this wonderful forum seeking information and comfort.  I will be here.

God bless,
Janet

Yae!!!!!!!! Now, just take the time, you need, to rest and recuperate. Remeber to listen to the doctor's orders, and don't over do. It is very hard when you start to feel better, but you will be extra sore if you don't allow your body time to heal. Take care.

Hugs,
Shari

Fantastic.. Now, just rest and try not to over do.. I understand the healing takes longer on the inside so just go slow... take care, Sandy

That is excellent news. Take it easy these first few days. And thank you for writing back so soon. Be sure to pop in with any questions you might have (or grumblings) while you're healing up. 'Night.  Irene
