It's been over 2 months, and the lump is still there...

Alright, if you remember me, I use to post a lot back in November and December, but I eventually decided not to worry about this lump. Well, it's still there. Still doesn't hurt, but sometimes gives me a little discomfort, but for the most part it isn't very noticeable. It doesn't feel like it has grown, but it still feels rather large, like it always has, and egg shaped. Also, it does move around under my skin.

I read about lipoma and I was wondering if it could be one of those? I have about 4 of those on my face, under my skin along my jaw bone, and stuff. So, could it be one of those?

And I'm worried that if it is a cyst, that is will rupture, because I just started Gym class in school, and we have to run every other day for 5 minutes, and then play stupid sports...

I am almost positive that Ohio has health departments.  Especially counties near the West Virginia border.  That way you could handle your medical issues without any parental involvement.

Sorry about that Amplifies, I was confusing it with what a poster in that thread said.  I am sure there are different names for what I call a Health Department, but it  is generally in a county seat and alot of people go there for family planning, STD/HIV testing, babies can get there shots there and it is free and anonymous.  You do not have to give your full name or anything.  If you do not mind me asking, what state do you live in?

Go see a family practitioner and question them about lymphnode enlargement and why it has been that way for so long.  Didn't you have antibiotics?  If there was some kind of infection, the lymph nodes would gone down by now.  Go to your local health department if your parents do not want to take you to a doctor.  Do they have that kind of thing where you live?  By the way I have been worried about since you have not posted for a while.  I am glad see you are still around.

No, I never took antibiotics for anything, I started birth control, and I don't know of a health department around here? Would that be free?

Amplifies when I was in the fourth grade I was doubled over in pain and everytime the school bus hit a bump I hit the roof. My mom took me to a doctor and and he said it was nothing, she then took me to a 2nd doctor who said that I was only trying to get out of school.  Well, my mom knew that this wasn't true so she took me to a 3rd doctor and this was said that I needed surgery immediately because my appendix were about to burst. Luckily it was taken out in time. Sorry for going on & on but your parents should take you to as many doctors as it takes until you get an answer & testing done.  What could it hurt.... Hugs to you... It will all be ok... :)

Ive been to the gynocologist once, and she said she couldn't feel anything, and she even like..felt around inside of me, and she pressed down where I can feel it, and I can feel it really good. She said that it was nothing, but if it hurt or got bigger to come back.

So.. I went to see a regulat doctor, and he said he gets stuff like this all the time, and that is just a lymph node and some muscle that fused together, but neither of these doctors did any tests or anything..

And with that, my parents won't take me back to the doctor, now that I've been checked out twice, and both of them said it's nothing to worry about, but I'm still worried!
