Laprascopic Ovarian Cystecomy and recovery

Hi, I had a 8cm cyst removed from my ovary 9 days ago and the pain from the incisions has subsided but now my ovary has started to ache. Is this normal? Also i keep getting sharp pains in my shoulder blades, they pain can be one sided or together. Is this normal 10 days post surgery and lastly when can i start to exercise again.

Thanks

The sharp pains may be related to the gas they pump in to inflate the abdomen so they can see what they're doing. I think my surgeon deflated my tummy pretty well because I had very little discomfort from the gas, just a dull ache for a day or two.

Even though the incisions are small, you had surgery.  Takes longer to heal internally than externally.  Its not even 2 weeks.  As the doctor when you can begin to resume normal acitivity.
