Hi, it sounds like we have a lot of the same symptoms. I too have had endo since my teens and had a lap last July. Since then, I've had recurring cysts on my left ovary. At my last appointment in November, the dr. said it was very small and "shouldn't" be causing as much pain as it was. It finally ruptured last Friday and I was in excrutiating pain. There is a lot fluid around my intestine on the left side and I've had a dull ache in that area since then. Also, my left ovary was really enlarged (which is scary). He didn't seem concerned.
Long story short, I'm going for a second opinion with a surgeon this Friday. I want to get my left ovary removed, I know that sounds drastic. But I've had cysts non-stop for the past two years and they effect my quality of life on a daily basis.
ultrasound are not very accurate, when my mom was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer by CT and surgery, ultrasound said that there was nothing wrong, so I really, don't recommend it.
Have you asked for a CA125 blood test? It may be something that they can track monthly and is not an expensive test. With the endometriosis...you need to be watched carefully but my understanding other than an actual look-see surgery...a transvaginal ultrasound is the best they have. Maybe repeat that in 6 to 8 weeks? If it changes, then a CT or PET.
Just my thoughts.
Good luck
Teresa
