I am 30 years of age blessed Mom of two young children. Have had multiple Gyn sugeries over the past few years including Hysterectomy (left ovaries) last year. Continue to have severe pelvic pain, prolonged bleeding and what are deemed as "strange" adnexal cysts and complex repeat ultrasounds. Recently because of this Radiologist requested we do an MRI. MRI found enlarged left ovary at 5x5x6.5cm and moderate free fluid in my pelvis. It also showed increased signal intensity within the stroma. I have been waiting three months for the tests to be completed and now am to see my surgeon in a matter of days. I am really scared about what this could mean. I have the symptoms of enlarged ovary, the pain, nausea, vomiting, and pelvic free fluid. I also have had episodes of unexplained vaginal bleeding despite having a Hysterectomy. It is all very worrisome. I would really like to hear any insight and encouragement that you may offer and share. I know there is a possibility of it being ovarian torsion, but beyond that I just know of ovarian cancer to show such signs. My doctor tends to wait and watch, and am just praying that won't be the case with the information we now have. I couldn't imagine waiting any more. Thanks so much. Blessings.
