NEED ANSWERS

Hi all really need some help here...
THE story stage 3 cancer chemo finished mri results are clear..
problem two blood clots one in each leg, so can not have hysterectomy or go on the cvac trial until they are gone. does anyone know how long it takes to get rid of blood clots ? and are the chances of the cancer comming back greater with out having a hysterectomy? my family are all so scared..... any answers apreciated thanks.

Very interesting that you were staged without surgery.  Glad the chemo went well and the MRI is now clear.  I am certain that they will do the hysterectomy as soon as they can.  Ovarian Cancer often does recur especially in later stages.  I don't know what the stats would be for someone that still has their ovaries, I am sure that it is higher.  All that being said, there are many women that do beat this disease, even in late stages.  Stats are just numbers.

As for blood clots, etc....don't really know.
